Palo Alto, California, October 19, 2022 — Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) today announced the release of its latest high-volume inkjet web press, the HP PageWide Web Press with the HP Brilliant Ink Machine T485 HD.
Designed for a wide range of applications including commercial, direct mail, publishing and transaction, this PageWide web press offers Print Service Providers (PSPs) the versatility to meet their customers’ needs for coated and uncoated paper.

The HP PageWide Web Press T485 HD with HP Brilliant Ink is available as an upgrade to the existing PageWide T400 series of presses, with new orders expected in the first half of 2023.

The HP PageWide T250 HD Web Press continues to be an important part of the HP PageWide portfolio. HP continues to improve it to improve performance and today announced a new 800 fps/244 mph mono mode.
This latest enhancement to the T250 HD delivers a 60%2 performance increase for monochrome applications. With an impressive duty cycle of 90 million pages per month3, this upgrade enables existing PageWide T250 HD users to print 1250 x 300 pages per hour in 6×9 book blocks.
Demonstrating HP’s commitment to our customers’ success, this launch represents another update to this popular 20″ print platform. Since its debut in 2010, HP has made four major platform upgrades, delivering higher quality, faster speeds, improved media compatibility, and ultra-fast monochrome printing capabilities.
Today at Printing United, HP announced that its Web Press PageWide inkjet portfolio has reached the 750 billion page milestone.

HP today announced that one of the first global installations of the HP PageWide Advantage 2200 took place at DataOne in France as part of Groupe Diffusion Plus, a leading customer communications management company for transactions and targeted marketing programs. Fast native RIP with object reuse and instant page composition and overlay offers printers new workflow alternatives for specialized security applications and privacy and security compliance.
HP has announced the expansion of its global partnership with ColorPRO to provide inkjet customers with greater choice when printing valuable, diverse content on industrial inkjet presses. These include UPM, Pixelle, Burgo, Sylvamo, Crown Van Gelder, Georgia-Pacific and Mondi.
